April 11, 2010- Milwaukee, WI. Miller Park..Milwaukee Brewers Trevor Hoffman came in and gave up another game, Hoffman gave up 3 runs and 3 hits to the Cardinals tonight. Lucky the Brewers bats came in for the bottom of the 9th inning making the brewers on top again..Milwaukee Brewers won over the St Louis Cardinals 7-6, the Cardinals took 2 out of the 3 games planned at Miller Park..Mike McGinnis / CSM.

Brewers rookie Delvin McNapp has politely listened to countless old save stories from struggling reliever Trevor Hoffman as he looks back on his career. McNapp says he's been cornered in the clubhouse by Hoffman on almost a daily basis, and is growing tired of the 'old man's' fibs.

"You should listen to this guy," said McNapp. "He's always like 'back in the day I did this, important saves that. I'm the career saves leader' - like he's gonna close a game with a change-up as his out pitch. I've seen his change-up. It sails 400 feet over the fence for a home run. Trevor's clearly grown senile in his old age."

According to the Brewers rookie, Hoffman's lies have become his reality.

"He said he pitched in the World Series for the Padres. The Padres! Can you believe it? Like the Padres would ever make it to the World Series. Maybe they did, but it was probably before there was TV, so there's no proof. He's such a confused old man."

McNapp says he'll be unable to keep a straight face if Hoffman ever reminisces about striking out 'Joe Dimaggio, or some other really old dude.'
